Clinical Microdialysis

Microdialysis is well established as a clinical research tool in neurointensive care, tissue/organ transplantations and other ICUs, where there is a need for continuous monitoring of energy and metabolic states, and other biomarkers of local chemistry in the affected organ.

Pronexus offers analytical services for microdialysis samples, which require the use of more complex bioanalytical techniques and assays, e.g. HPLC and enzyme immunoassays compared to those commercially available for bed-site microdialysis monitoring.
